Become a Founding Contributor

Become a founding contributor to Cirkit Designer by building simulatable components that power the ecosystem. We’re entering a community-driven phase—this is your chance to help build Cirkit with us.

Our vision is to make Cirkit the most powerful simulation platform in the world, where thousands of components can be simulated. Every part you contribute moves us closer to that goal.

Anyone with a Cirkit account can create a component and submit it for review. Accepted components are added to the public library so the wider Cirkit community can use them.

How Contributions Work

  1. Create your component in Cirkit Designer with the Component Editor and Component AI.
  2. Test it in a circuit to make sure its appearance and simulation behavior work correctly.
  3. Submit it for review when it is ready for the public library.
  4. Respond to review feedback if changes are needed.
  5. Publish to the community after the component is accepted.

Submitting a component does not guarantee publication. Cirkit may accept the submission, request changes, or decline it based on quality, accuracy, and its fit for the public library.

Why Contribute

  • Help expand the library: Make useful sensors, displays, modules, and other parts available to the community.
  • Share your expertise: Turn your knowledge of real hardware into components other people can use.
  • Gain visibility: High-quality public contributions may be featured on the Cirkit homepage.
  • Build with AI assistance: Use Component AI to research, implement, test, and refine component behavior.
